This is such a great book. This book has insight that will just get you thinking, if not, reconsidering any negative views on the church and sexuality. It also has such a different writing style that makes you think the author is speaking to you directly or in a conversational way.

Drew's story and perspective is a beautiful one. He is incredibly sensitive, firm in his beliefs, open and vulnerable. At times I wanted to laugh and cry. Throughout church history, the subject of LGBTQ has not been dealt with well, especially recently. Drew presents several perspectives that I believe help a christian navigate the hotbed issues of our time regarding LGBTQ, yet with sensitivity and compassion. This book is the start of that important conversation. A must read for the serious christian.

This book is an incredible juxtaposition of humor, wisdom and heartfelt passages. I laughed and cried and was blessed as I read this. The author uses his own life story to illustuthe truth of how God loves us, even if we struggle with issues that the Christian Church historically condemns. That our past sins do not define us. That God does not view us through our sin.

I learned many truths that convicted my soul to better reflect the heart of our Savior while unflinchingly standing for Biblical Truth. My heart aches for the wounds Drew personally received from his own Church family and rejoices in the triumph of his ultimate victory to repent and claim his real identity as a beloved son of God.
